We always quote fairly with no hidden costs. The costs for materials and parking are in addition to the prices shown below.
We provide quotations free of charge. First we will arrange to make a site visit to the property to assess the scope of the work to be done. We then will provide a fully itemised, fixed price quotation.
Throughout the job all costs are explained to the customer and agreed up front, before any work is undertaken. Any alterations or additions to the original quotation will always be promptly and fairly communicated.

Testing the existing installation
If the work involves alterations or additions to an existing installation this will be tested and inspect to ensure safety and compliance with current regulations. The test and inspection of all circuits to be worked on will be the first item carried out. Any problems encountered with the existing installation at this stage will be brought to the client’s attention and fully explained. If remedial work is required it will be at additional cost to that specified in this quotation. It is entirely at the client’s discretion whether to proceed with the remedial work, however if the decision is taken not to proceed the client will still be liable for the cost of the original test and inspection. This been identified separately on this quotation under the heading ‘Test and Inspection’.
In most cases the electricity supply will need to be shut down at intervals in order to complete the work. It may only involve individual circuits rather than power to the whole property. We try hard to keep this to a minimum. Fair warning will be given when this is likely to happen, however no responsibility will be accepted for any damage or loss due to disconnection of the electricity supply. Please also remember that if the electricity supply is turned off that this will also affect your internet connection.
We will repair any damage to the walls or ceilings with bonding coat plaster. This does not include redecoration. Filling, sanding and re-painting will still be required.
The work will not necessarily be carried out in the order listed within the specifications. The exact installation may change slightly from that described, depending on availability of parts and/or problems encountered at the time.
Variations - additions and extras
Any variations to the specification that are requested by the client will be charged for at the company’s standard rates. All costs will be fully explained and agreed before any additions will be carried out. In the majority of cases any work requested by the client that is additional to this specification will be carried out at the rate of £30 per hour plus any parts.
